We all have the urge to read beloved children classics every once in a while. I had the yearning to read The Wizard of Oz recently. I have always loved The Wizard of Oz.
This is indeed a beautiful book. A book with multiple short stories about women who experienced love, loss, and everything in between.
I was constantly on my toes wanting to figure out what happened to Jamie that made her create a whole world that she believed was reality for her whole life.
There was so much that I loved about the story. I loved how I was not expecting such emotional turmoil from the book. I was expecting a very happy tale, but Under the Lights was full of drama, pain, and sorrow. It was actually very good!
