Top Five Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm where bookworms get to chat about their top five books based on different topics.
Today I give you another Top 5 Tuesday!
I have so much love for this book. I can totally see it as a movie. I can just picture it now. The desert, the trials and tribulations, and the whole “I must find myself”. Like, this is the perfect book to become a movie. I mean such an inspiration!
Let’s try to make this happen guys. We need to bombard all the movie production companies to make this happen. This movie will change lives. I am telling you.
My younger self read this book back in 2016 and I have been raving about it since then. This book made me decide to take a spontaneous road trip to the SouthWest in the future. Make note, it is on my bucket list. One day, I will make this trip.
So that was a tangent, so let’s get back to the matter at hand. This book needs to be a movie. Maybe it is just me and my lack of road trip movie knowledge, but I feel like there are not a lot of movies out there about road trips and young love. I think this book would be a game changer.
Have you guys ever seen Cirque Du Soleil perform live? No? Okay, well this book would open that avenue up for those who have the disadvantage not to see Cirque Du Soleil live. Why do I reference Cirque Du Soleil with this book? Well let me tell you that when I read the book, I kept thinking and imagining the performances of Cirque Du Soleil. I can imagine the crazy costumes, the ominous and vague mysteries of the performance, and the essence of magic at play.
Who doesn’t want that to be a movie?!
I have said this many times before and I will say it again; I love a good retelling of fairytales. I am there for it. So, I will take anything related to a retelling in either book or movie form. Besides, it is a beloved book that everyone (at least who I know) wants to see come to life. So…cinema productions, get on that!
Ahhh, one of my favorite books of all time. I have yet to see a movie that is similiar to this storyline. That means that if it is turned into a movie, it will be such a unique experience. I laughed so hard that there were tears streaming down my face when I read the book. And that is just from reading the book. Imagine how funny it would be when it is brought to life. I think it would be pretty damn hilariosu!
After this post, I feel like I should change my career path to be a producer becuase obviously I have somepretty great ideas! Just kidding guys, I am not going to do that, but I still feel like I could totally be a producer if I tried my hardest.
